Our Introduction to the Humanities and Social Sciences course, accredited by OCNL, provides students with an engaging foundation in understanding people, societies, and the world around them. Through the exploration of topics such as history, geography, culture, communities, and current social issues, students develop a greater awareness of how individuals and societies interact and change over time.
The course encourages students to think critically, ask questions, and explore different perspectives while building confidence in researching, discussing, and presenting ideas. Alongside subject knowledge, learners develop valuable transferable skills including communication, teamwork, problem-solving, independent learning, and reflective thinking. These skills support both further study and everyday life, helping students become informed, confident, and active members of their communities.
